There are a few important things that are on everyone’s checklist for a good workout, and while the list is short – everything on the list is vital… workout clothes, gym shoes, water bottle, and of course – MUSIC.
I think everyone has their own choice of headphones, earbuds… Bluetooth or wired, etc. we all have our own preferences here.
I’m a BIG fan of BlueTooth Headsets as I think that pulling out your cord mid-workout is completely annoying.. You have to stop what you’re doing and plug back in… it’s a hassle and an interruption to your workout flow. Go BlueTooth and save yourself the annoyance.
I have the MyMe H14 BlueTooth Headset and it rocks! 2 hours of play time on a single charge, and the music is clear and full!
These fit really snug into your earlobe so they don’t pop out while you’re on the move. I think that’s my biggest peeve about most headsets or earbuds, the H14’s have HD sound and don’t disappoint!
The MyMe H17 BlueTooth Headset is another that I like, the H17 ‘s wrap around your ears and also have a snug feel to them! They work from 30ft away from the device too, so you can leave your phone at a distance and they’ll still play right through! These boast HD sound as well, and the bass response is noticeable.
If you’re working out at home or outdoors, having a speaker is a great option! MyMe has a Water Resistant BlueTooth Speaker that really Rocks!
This is truly music on the go! Talk about portable, this small speaker goes wherever you want to go, and it has BIG sound too.
One of the essential elements of music is having a good workout playlist, with your own selection of motivational music.
I personally like a mix of rock beats and hip-hop, something to keep me moving! I want to have a good pace when I’m doing cardio, and just a nice set of beats to keep my mind occupied while I’m lifting some weights.
My taste is all mine, I typically take whatever is on my phone and let it play. I know others really dig deeper and set playlists, which allows you to choose your tune and vibe according to what you’re doing that day. I think it makes sense to separate cardio, dance (Rumba), spinning, and HITT workouts from weight training, as the pace is totally different.
The point here is to have music that YOU KNOW will move and motivate YOU. Having a good workout playlist filled with motivational music is something everyone can benefit from. So… take a look at your music on your phone and using whatever app or service you have, make or choose a playlist.
